Last year, the EU and US finally reached an agreement on a new EU-US Data Privacy Framework to replace the EU-US Privacy Shield Framework, which was struck down by an EU court some time ago. On July 17th, 2023, the US Department of Commerce officially launched of the Data Privacy Framework (DPF) program and website.
