Microsoft officially released .NET 9 on November 12, 2024. While it is always possible to deploy .NET 9 applications to our hosting environment using Self-Contained Deployment (SCD), we now have .NET 9 (ASP.NET Core 9) installed on our Windows hosting platform servers. Therefore, customers can use Framework-Dependent Deployment (FDD) using Visual Studio 2022 to publish their .NET 9 (ASP.NET Core 9) applications.
